{ PERSONAL STYLE } IS IT TOO LATE NOW TO SAY SORRY?

... Because I've become completely dependent on something completely ridiculous: cashmere sweats. Yes, pants made of cashmere. Loma London kindly sent me a pair to ease my winter woes, and now I'm forever spoiled. No other pants or leggings nor pajamas will ever be good enough.

When I put this outfit on in my apartment, my roommate took a look at me and said, "Oh, is this your "flying private" look?" Don't I wish! But just because I didn't jaunt off to Teterboro to catch my jet to Sun Valley, doesn't mean I can't dress like I might have, right? In reality, this is (as advertised by my Americano in hand) a realistic weekend coffee date outfit.

All through the spring and summer, the Adidas Stan Smith sneakers were my jam. I love them dearly, but I decided to throw it back to an even more classic sneaker for these weirdly warm days of early winter. I replaced my well-worn white Chucks with a new pair just before our Thanksgiving trip to Puerto Rico, and am already back to wearing them with almost everything.

Also, Zero Gravity is my new obsession. They make the coolest iPhone cases that have really sleek, modern designs like marble, black and white palm designs and my favorite—the above black, white and gold design. It's not the thinnest case in the world, but it does make my phone feel quite safe and stylish—I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it every day! (Plus they're all under $35!) I also love this one with Karl and Anna, and this one with the silver arrows.

Earlier in the fall, I wrote a whole story for Teenvogue.com about blanket scarves, and I stand by my stance that they are absolutely essential this time of year. Unfortunately this one I'm wearing is from Madewell a year or two ago, and though they brought it back, it sold out again! However, you can find plenty of cozy plaid scarves from Madewell, Standard Form and more right here. Since things still refuse to cool down much in NYC, I've been wearing my scarves like outerwear (draped over my shoulders) quite a bit.

Even if I didn't fly private this season (and probably never will), I'm glad I know how to dress for it. Meanwhile I'll be working from home, getting coffee, seeing movies and generally just living my #bestlife in cashmere sweats. Shop for your own luxurious pair here, and below.
