{ Babe, there's something tragic about you
Something so magic about you, don't you agree? }

No—I'm not going to force you to listen to "Take Me To Church," again. Are you guys as sick of that song as I am? For some reason it digs at me in a really unpleasant way, which I think has something to do with the fervor with which it took over the radio waves. Suddenly my trips to Duane Reade are way more emotionally tinged than they need to be.

ANYWAY, "From Eden" is not that. I love the easy rhythm of this song with it's sweet lyrics and punching percussion. While "Take Me To Church" gives me really annoying Imagine Dragons vibes, this song is much more in line with the modern folk rock/pop of Bastille or my boy George Ezra that I find so palatable these days. And in case you were wondering, most of his music is along this line, so go ahead and indulge in the full album but for now, feast your ears on "From Eden."
