{ My dress is Tibi, Lauren's is Rag & Bone }

After talking such a big game about that Tibi dress I couldn't wait to wear during the wedding blitz, I thought I'd share a few photos of how it turned out. And, aside from the fact that the bridesmaids were also wearing navy at this wedding (such a faux pas, I know), it was a huge hit. I've developed a serious thing for high-neck backless dresses—I think I've found my new go-to dressy silhouette. (Oh, and between you and me, I couldn't have made it work without this genius little number.)

This dress is so soft and swingy, I felt comfortable running around, dancing and toasting all night long. (Not to mention, it has pockets!) I accessorized with those silver shoes I refuse to shut up about, and a pair of Lulu Frost statement earrings from their new Transcend collection and a killer Rue Gembon hand bracelet. (Also, shortly before taking off, I hopped on over to Deluxe Salon in Brooklyn and chopped a couple more inches off my hair—you like?)

I'm finally back in New York today, and I'm not quite sure how to feel. After so much (relaxing) time away, I have a feeling the vacation blues are going to hit me hard. However, I've missed my life and my friends out here, so I'm looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. I'm sure I'll have more emo feelings and reflections to share about my trip later this week, but at the moment I still can't believe I was having dinner with my parents (for their 40th wedding anniversary!) at Ponti just last night...
