{ I'd die here as your phantom lover, I never learn }

Years and years ago, Tully sent me a remix of Lykke Li's "Little Bit," featuring Drake. To this day, it's one of the most played songs in my iTunes library, and yet I hadn't ever really bothered to get very into her music.

Anyway, her new album came out last month, and something compelled me to check in on the Swedish indie singer I had been obsessed with on that super-specific scale. After quite a few listens, I'm thoroughly into it. Granted, her brand of "pop" is a little more melancholy than most of us are in the mood for in the dog days of summer, but when that cozy, crazy thunderstorm rolls in and you're trapped inside on a Saturday afternoon—this is what you need.

The whole album is great (and on Spotify), but I'm particularly enchanted by the title song, "I Never Learn." Take a listen below, but don't watch the video unless you want to feel rather depressed but also like, damn that Swede is stylish and deep and feels all the things.
