Let's just get something out of the way now: I am an unabashed adult Spice Girls fan. Blame it on nostalgia or the catchy choruses, but I still enjoy those pure pop albums from 1996 and 1997. Until this week, I didn't know I needed or wanted anyone to cover one of the Spice Girls most beloved tracks. Then I was trolling around on Twitter and saw that my girl Kat was extolling the merits of Danish singer MØ's cover of "Say You'll Be There." Take a listen below:

How amazing and unexpected is that? This #GirlPower jam takes on a synthy, somewhat melancholy vibe, but it's just so good. I've had this on repeat (with ASTR and Pharrell) all week, and it's making spring feel real.) Also worth noting? MØ's debut album is now available on Spotify, and is full of the same electro-synth lady pop, and is quite enjoyable.

What do you think? Do you like her cover or are you loyal to the original?
