{NYFW} weekend highlights from Jenni Kayne, Nonoo & more...

By the looks of it so far, Fall 2014 is shaping up to be an eclectic, fur-trimmed romp with plenty of color. I'm already playing favorites, and the usual suspects like Jenni Kayne, Alexander Wang and Nonoo have served up some of the most consistently covetable collections I've ever laid eyes on. And if you can believe it, we've still got four more days of shows to go!

Let's take a look, shall we?

Jenni Kayne: Every season, without fail, I fall for Jenni Kayne's vision hook, line and sinker. I find her cool, tomboyish aesthetic so lovely, and so wearable I want to wear all of it, all the time. This collection was inspired by the English countryside; an English countryside I'd pick up and move to anyday. I love the contrast between the easy gowns and sharp tailoring of the jackets and trousers. It's a perfect wardrobe for the chic city girl Monday through Friday, and a languorous, glamorous lifestyle of fall weekends spent by the fire with guests abound and cocktail in hand. Can't you just picture it?

Nonoo: If every girl isn't clamboring for an off-kilter fur collar by next fall, I'll be seriously surprised. It's a glamorous accent with an irreverent, playful twist. Whether attached to a plaid suit or a lovely lavender overcoat, this finishing touch made an excellent complement to the modern dress silhouettes and menswear-inspired seperates.

Alexander Wang: The fact of the matter is, almost everything Mr. Wang designs turns to gold. Chunky turtlenecks, printed anoraks, shearling-trimmed coats—we'll all be craving them come October. And don't even get me started on the boots. These warriors in flat-over-the-knee footwear and mini skirts are gunning for a fierce-meets-feminine and somewhat androgynous fall, and they'll probably get it.

Delpozo: Up-and-comer Delpozo brought the brights for Fall 2014, in the form of quirky dress silhouettes and exaggerated plaids. Here's hoping we see some of these colorful looks on the red carpet.

Mara Hoffman: These are the kinds of prints that make a girl drool. Inspired by Moroccan nights, I am obsessed with every design from the slinky sequin-covered gown to the palm tree and purple-dominated sheath. It's quite the sensation when a fall collection has you dreaming of exotic, tropical getaways.

What are your favorite collections of NYFW so far?
