{ Stunning view near the top of Stratton Mountain }

On Friday evening, a group of us drove out to Stratton Mountain in Vermont for a long weekend of skiing, fireside wine-drinking and Olympics-watching. It was everything you could want President's Day weekend to be, complete with two feet of fresh powder, home-cooked meals and a post-mountain hot tub soak.

To set the tone of the weekend, I created a playlist of chilled out, cozy songs. Yes, it's called The Full Vermonty (which originated here). Whether you're bound for a snowy locale or just want to curl up on the couch in your tiny New York apartment with a good book, this playlist should do the trick. Filled with favorites old and new, let the moody tunes of Daughter, Lord Huron and Lorde transport you.

  1. Hate DMB but #41 is pretty good - I think we would make playlist magic together, you and me. Did you see Lord Huron at T5?
