I'm home! I just arrived back in Seattle yesterday after a long cross-country flight. If you're anything like me, the key to surviving 5+ hours in coach is great music. I am almost fanatical about making sure I have playlists and new music cued up for my trips. Whether I'm reading a great book or forced to work, a fresh soundtrack is essential. Below, you'll find my latest Spotify playlist I made especially for yesterday's flight:
I've also recently been clued in to how nice it can be to travel with a high-quality pair of headphones. I usually get irritated if I leave earbuds in for too long, don't you? Luckily for me (and you), Jabra let me test-drive their new Revo Wireless headphones. These over-the-ear headphones use Bluetooth technology to eliminate the need for that tangly cord, which makes them really convenient for daily commuting and long-distance travel. I found them to be comfortable enough to wear for hours on end, not to mention the audio quality is killer.
Why lucky for you? I'm giving away a pair of the Jabra Revo Wireless headphones to one of you! All you have to do is leave a comment below with two things:
- One of your favorite travelling tunes (name and artist, please)
- Your email address (This is just so I can contact you and connect you with Jabra if you win. I suggest using the format: name [at] email [dot] com.)

My travel song is "Graceland" by Paul Simon. Pretty much anything by Paul Simon is great for a really long car ride, or train ride. For flights I like something more chilled out like "Berlin" by Snow Patrol.

What a fun giveaway! And have fun in Seattle! (I'm from Spokane, but I haven't been home for Christmas since 2009:(
ReplyDeleteNow, the song I'm going to say is "On the Road Again," even though I don't really care for Willie Nelson. But, if I were to make a travel playlist, I think this would be the first song to just kick the travel into motion. I'll be travelling on the 26th to Thailand for a week, so I think I might follow suit and make a little playlist for the trip. Great idea! And thanks for hosting the giveaway.
Merry Christmas! Say hi to Pike's Place for me;D

For some reason September by Earth Wind and Fire immediately brings me to my happy place amongst endless security lines and annoying road trips.

Keg In The Closet by Kenny Chesney seems to make it on almost all of my playlists. When I was in eighth grade, I would ride with one of the seniors to school, and she'd play the song all the time. It's just a given "car song" for me thanks to her.
