{outfit post} a 90s moment in the park...

{ The Central Park Duck Pond }

Though the weather was rather dreary and heavy, there was something so utterly wonderful about Central Park a few Saturdays ago. We've been waiting for so long to see this greenery. The blooms of the flowering trees have given way to lush branches of green leaves and our parks are practically bursting with the signs of spring. Everywhere I looked it was like an oasis in heart of Manhattan.

Let me first acknowledge that I know I've worn this hat, sweatshirt and necklace together on the blog (here), but I honestly can't help myself. They are three of my favorite pieces and I have them in even more frequent rotation off the blog.

Talk about a Mr. T moment, amiright? This whole outfit definitely has a 1990s feel to it, and that's thanks in large part to my inability to not wear a lot of gold jewelry almost all the time. It just speaks to me. The warm tones also feel so right paired with white moving into summer. With the hat, the side-pony, and the shock of pink the whole effect is a throwback that feels just on the right side of current.

All the details: Joie Topaz dress (c/o) / Zara sweatshirt / Bauble Bar necklace (c/o) / vintage necklace / Lulu Frost necklace (gift) / Michael Michael Kors watch (similar) / vintage Polo Ralph Lauren bag / Joie flats (c/o) / Only NY hat / Ray-Ban sunglasses.
