After my post on Thursday about the gorgeous necklaces from J. Crew, I felt inspired to do a little fantasy styling this weekend. As I mentioned, I would probably always wear a glorious necklace like one of those with a simple t-shirt, and build the rest of my look from there.
For work or a date, I'd be pairing the simple tee with a fun and full high-waisted skirt like this Carven gem and some jazzy flats. For weekends, boyfriend jeans, a menswear-inspired coat and those Rag & Bone booties with one super-feminine statement piece is just the ticket.

I've had a long time love of statement necklaces. They really add so much interest to any outfit. LOVE the pieces from J.Crew! I definitely need to pick one of those up. Really love how you styled them here too.
