You guys, I'm not dead! I'm so sorry I've been MIA from le blog of late, but I'm back now so let's get right back into the swing of things this week! As you may recall from a couple of short posts a few weeks ago, I was invited up to Vermont by the good people at Burton at the end of September, to preview the re-launch of their lifestyle site, burtongirls.com. It was a pretty amazing experience, and so without further ado, here are some of my favorite photos from my 2-day adventure, taken by me and a few by Burton as well.
This is the view from my room at the gorgeous Stowe Mountain Lodge where we stayed. You can see the lines through the trees where chairlifts run in the winter.
On Thursday morning, Melody, Tanya and I went to Cold Hollow Cider Mill, for their famous hot apple cider and even more famous apple cider donuts. Both were unreal!
You've gotta dip one in the other.
The whole crew headed up to hike to the falls.
The falls. Incredible.
Melody, Jess & I having a little picnic lunch on the river.
They weren't lying about that Vermont foliage.
Hanging with Jake Burton Carpenter and Donna Carpenter at Jake's "man cave" outside Stowe. I should note that's Veuve we're drinking out of Solo cups!
After our day out in nature, we were rewarded with massages, hair and make-up and the most delicious of all end-of-day rewards, chilled champagne.
