Insta-America day...

mimosas are SO America / my patriotic style (Zara dress) / all the girls / up on the roof, waiting for fireworks / all the crazy fireworks as seen from Chelsea

You know it's going to be a great mid-week holiday when your roommates wake you up out of a dead sleep with mimosas in bed. We hosted a rather amazing Fourth of July celebration at 274, with all the necessary fun and games. From water balloon tosses (fights) to flip cup - plus homemade chocolate-covered strawberries, mac & cheese, carnitas, sangria and yes - just about every American beer you can think of - we really did the day proud. And while not all of these things are typically USA (sangria?), they worked for us.

I took a bunch of fabulous, fancier photos thoughout the day that I can't wait to share with you, but I've got to edit them first and make sure I look amazing in all of them. Kidding. Sort of. Anyway, stay tuned for those tomorrow! Hope you all had a crazy, fun, safe and super-American day.

  1. These pics are awesome. Looks like you had a blast. My 4th was weak (kinda)- fiance was working and apparently no one informed me that my neighborhood fireworks were last weekend. Fail.
    Love your dress

  2. Those photos are amazing :) love it
