{from ESD} chambray dress of dreams...

Graham & Spencer chambray dress; Ray-Ban sunglasses; Kork-Ease wedges; Bauble Bar (c/o) and Kenneth Jay Lane bracelets; vintage and gift from a friend necklaces.

If you read Eat, Sleep, Denim, you know that every Friday I review a piece of denim for the benefit of the readers. The items are sometimes gifted, but usually they're on temporary loan from ShopBop for me to test out and send back (or purchase if I'm totally in love). This week I road-tested this Graham & Spencer chambray dress - and I'm so tempted to keep it! It's so comfortable and breezy; which is pretty much the dream on these hot and sticky NYC days.

You know I love anything with pockets, and these are especially good ones. They kind of remind me of an artist's smock, and they're at just the right place for a casual pose, dontcha think?

I also love, love, love this building on Broome and Centre Street in Soho, I believe it was once a police building, but now it's residences. It's so regal and classic amidst all the chaos and wrought-iron fire escapes of Soho. There's even a dome. Additionally - the iced coffee is brought to you by my favorite local cafe, Ground Support on Spring and West Broadway.

Here are those crazy wedges again, also. I have to say there were one of the smartest investments I've made in the world of footwear in a long time. You know me and my flats, we're almost never parted. The wedges are also key with this dress because it's so weirdly long.

Anyway, it's a simple outfit but one that's so easy for the summer I'm thinking this dress might have to become a keeper... Thoughts?

*PS: I'm still working on that whole haircut thing.

  1. I love this dress but have to agree that it is weirdly long. Nothing a little hemming couldn't fix! I also seriously need a haircut.

  7. I love this dress. I have seen so many great denim dresses out there recently and this is definitely one of them. It's actually different than any others that have seen and the light denim looks great.

  10. You must keep this dress! I love it! And the long hippy hair totally works with the look. You might not be able to cut your hair if you keep the dress :).
