{PLAYLIST} HERE COMES THE SUMMER...

Happy Friday! May is fully underway, and Memorial Day Weekend is 21 days away! Summer's a-commin' y'all... Can you feel it? I feel like you're long overdue for a playlist, am I right? I went through a dry spell where I felt like I hadn't heard a new song in about 3 months, but I've collected some gems of late, and per usual, I'm mixing them in with some oldie-but-goodies as well.

Some songs come from past MWMM posts, some are recommendations from friends, and some are Spotify and Hype Machine discoveries. It starts out very dance pop then moves into a little more low key with a touch of folksie, then it goes a little 90's and beyond... but I think generally it's all in the key of, "Oh joy it's only 3 weeks 'til Memorial Day!"

In case you were worried, this playlist doesn't include Call Me Maybe. But yes, it does include both Paul Simon and Azelia Banks.

At the bottom of the list you'll find a Grooveshark link where you can listen to the whole thing! It seems I'm really getting a handle on this whole technology thing...

  4. Taylor -- I adore your blog. I can't believe I haven't commented before, but I have been reading your posts for about a year now. From you fashion/style posts to your music posts, I'm obsessed. You seem like such a normal girl navigating her 20's and I can relate to that. I live in Chicago and it is so nice to see what NYC is like! I am a huge music fan and often times the songs you post I listen to as well (I saw The Head and the Heart in concert a month or so ago) and I haven't been able to stop listening to your Imagine Dragon song from last week. Needless to say, you can follow on me on twitter (Monicadanielle2) and see all the songs I post - I think you would like them :)

    Keep doin' what you're doin'!!
