{outfit post} on the steps of the met...

This past Tuesday I made my third visit to The Met since I moved to NYC, and the second in the past week. A museum with that many treasures will probably never get old to me, so I was happy to take Megan there and get my fill of Monet, Manet, and a giant bamboo structure on a rooftop. We got lost in the Asian art wing, and the American wing, and the Medieval armour wing... which, let's be honest, is half the fun.

Urban Outfitters Ecote surplus jacket; American Apparel deep V; Urban Outfitters skirt; vintage belt; Hue tights; Corso Como boots; Anthropologie scarf; Ray Ban sunglasses, "Kelsi" handbag c/o Kooba.
Megan & I doing our best Serena & Blair on the steps of the Met... except that we're standing, smiling broadly, and our minions are nowhere to be found...

  6. Loveeee the Met! Just went this summer and got totally lost in the American Women's Fashion display, if it's still up it's definitely worth a trip back. It was filled with lots of gorgeous old dresses, they were all so intricate and beautiful! Definitely would be a source of inspiration for some new fall looks, although I love what you're wearing, especially the scarf, belt, and bag together-so cute!!
