{NYFW} a little post-show action @ Lincoln Center

Half the fun of going to the shows at Lincoln Center on Thursday was hanging around in the plaza outside to see and be seen. I snapped a few photos and managed to be snapped by some photographers myself! It was very flattering and I can't wait to see if I manage to track down where some of them were posted. Among the other fun things that happened: I was inteviewed on camera by Crystal Pancipanci, a Hawaiian stylist and tv personality about my outfit, etc; I won a $25 gift certificate to H&M from Starbucks for wearing their "trend of the day;" and I got a free copy of Womens Wear Daily (which I cannot currently afford.)

Click through the gallery to see my favorite pictures from my afternoon by the fountain...

models off duty...

I felt like I had a very 'The Sartorialist' moment with this shot, I absolutely love it. I recodnized these girls as two of the models from the Andy & Debb presentation.

tweed & Chanel

I love this woman's extremely classic and elegant look. Her outfit is timeless - from the quilted Chanel pouchette to the pointy-toe pumps.

wild thing...

This dude I think showed up specifically just to see how many people would take his photo. And it worked.

I mean, this guy's outfit was totally nutty, but you must admit those are some KILLER silver and turquoise bracelets...

steppin' out

A quirky mix of shoes...

Johnny Weir!

In the front row at Isaac Mizrahi, Byranboy, Johnny Weir and Andy from Bravo all sat next to each other... The every flamboyant Weir was the only one I caught a glimpse of post-show.

the fountain...

Revelers hoping to catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two

off the cuff...

This guy looks so dapper, and I just love a good rolled cuff on a pair of jeans or khakis these days.

the steps...

...and then I got interviewed

Crystal Pancipanci and I, after she interviewed me on camera for her Fashion Week coverage. I hope I managed not to sound too silly. I do remember thinking on my feet when she asked me what my one NYC wardrobe essential was, and I answered, a well-tailored blazer of course! Phewf!

Posted up...

I could have hung around all day probably, just watching the well-heeled fashionistas and fashionistos come and go...
