mid-week music moment: Flight Fascilities ft. Giselle

Sorry to be posting so late in the day, but I have a bestie from Seattle in town and such an occasion demanded my full attention most of the day. We walked the High Line, grabbed an iced coffee at Da Silvano, strolled our way down to Nolita for lunch at The Smile, and walked all the way back to Chelsea.
It was reminiscent of my first weeks in NYC when all I did for days on end was roam the streets and try to figure out where in the heck I was. Except this time, I knew exactly where I was (most of the time).

Anyway, onto the music! A couple of weeks ago I posted a Matt & Kim song that I was able to download from a blog called Thieves by Tuesday, remember? So checked back in on that site and found yet another great song I can't stop listening to. This one is by Flight Facilities ft. Giselle, and it's called "Crave You." It has a perfect sound for these days that are transitioning between Summer and Fall: a little bit sexy, easy to sing along to, and the right beat for hanging around doing nothing or partying with friends. At least, I think so.

Here's the music video also, I think it's really sweet:

I walk into the room dripping in gold, yeah dripping in gold...
