miss new boot-ie...

Deny it all you want, but Fall is approaching. The sizzling days of summer are numbered, and pretty soon, it's going to be time to start throwing a chunky sweater over that sweet floral dress, and replacing your gladiator sandals with closed-toe shoes. Sad, isn't it? At the moment, in the middle of August, yes. But the September magazines are coming out, and pretty soon you won't be able to avoid... Fall. Fashion. Fever. Honestly, summer in New York is a bit much for me, so the coming of Fall is a welcome chill. First on my list? A new pair of boots. Specifically, not-black riding boots. I already have the best pair of black boots ever (by Corso Como, seen above) but as you can see, I wear them to death! They could use a break, and I could use an update. I'm craving a slim, simple pair with perhaps a buckle here or there, in a buttery cognac or milk chocolate hue. I don't think I need to wax philosophic about how versatile and comfortable a tall pair of flat boots are, it's a no-brainer for you stylish readers that they are perfection with everything from leggings and jeggings to skirts & tights. Let the hunt begin!
