outfit post: weird weather errands...

Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses; unidentified scarf borrowed from my mom; Splendid striped top; BP long white tank; ski leggings; J. Crew grey knee socks; mom's black rubber boots; Karren Millen trench coat; Louis Vuitton Speedy; Zoey the dog!

Tuesday's weather was really weird. As I was getting dressed to run around doing errands and such all day, it was pouring rain. By the time I stepped outside to snap a few pictures, the sun had come out. On my drive home, it was pouring again. So, since it had been raining at one point, I opted for the rubber boots. Unfortunately, they were insanely warm/difficult to pull on and off, and caused a few delays in the dressing room at Anthro and Forever 21.

I've been using my Paris Bag pretty much non-stop since I got it, but I recently started to get nostalgic for my Louis, as obnoxiously monogramed as it is. That bag is spactious and weather-resistant and too classic not to bring out every once and a while. Also, the trench is a sort of oldie-but-a-goodie that I got in 2007 just before studying abroad in France. It was a key piece in helping me blend in with the locals, as long as everything else I wore was black. Back here, it's just a nice alternative to a The North Face shell.

*Stay tuned for a post on the great finds I got at F21 this week.

  1. LOVE this - those boots and socks are just perfection with the leggings.

  2. Thanks for the blog loaded with so many information. Stopping by your blog helped me to get what I was looking for.
