shut up, i love that guitar on you.

Thursday night I got my hipster on at The Virgins concert at Chop Suey here in Seattle.  I donned my buffalo plaid flannel shirt and my skinniest, blackest jeans and took in a great show and lots of cool style.  The first opening act was Anya Marina, a pixie-ish blond with a cool voice.

I love her heavy thick bangs and cool suede ankle boots.  Her outfit is feminine with a great rock-and-roll edge.

Lissy Trullie, the punk/alt/80's-ish/upbeat second opening act.

Lissy has a great, sort of androgynous look. Give me that leather jacket right now.

Closer look at her wild shoes and the cool zipper detail on her jeans.

Lead singer of The Virgins. Very hipster combo of vest and modified bowtie.  At the time I found him extemely attractive; now I am having second thoughts. Isn't that always the case with musicians...

Man-bangs and man-cardigan.

Probably my favorite look of the night. Uber hipster.

I just had to include this couple. Because nothing says rock concert like a slow-swaying standing spoon...
